Overview

AKA: Rager, Wild One, Monster
Berserkers are warriors who tap an elemental, emotional fury to fuel their asssault on their enemies. They may empower their whole party with fury, or simply unlock the potential in themselves. Capable of great physical damage, but lacking in magical power, the berserker represents a pure physical force of destruction. They are uncontrollable, and unpredictable, but when their abilities are unlocked, they become greater than any practiced warrior can be.

These are the basic statistics for anybody with Berserker set as their main job.

Skills

Characters with Berserker as their main job can use the following skills.

Explore Vitality: Berserkers endure the elements with little protection, and smile.
Social Spirit: Berserkers get by on intimidating presence and barbarian beauty.
Knowledge Mind: Berserkers possess a simple, instinctive intuition.

Instinct

Berserkers gain Instincts as they gain levels. Instinct falls into three major categories. Rage Techs only activate randomly while the character is berserked, and tend to give the berserker monstrous qualities. Onslaught abilities are powerful attacks that can be used at any time, even while berserked. Finally, Lunacy abilities empower allies and the berserker herself.

1: Lunacy: Berserk

Berserkers can enter a state of rage.

Berserk Tech 1 A You gain the Berserk status.

2: Rage Tech: Yeti Toss

Berserkers can throw creatures into each other.

Yeti Toss Tech 1 A When in Berserk status, roll 1d20 on your turn. On a roll of 15 or better, you use Toss.
One ally deals WEAPON POWER damage, using their weapon power. To this, add HALF WEAPON POWER of your own weapon power.
This removes ailments that physical attacks remove.

3: Onslaught: Advance

Berserkers can press up against even distant enemies.

Advance Tech 1 A You deal WEAPON POWER +5 damage, but take a -5 penalty to Stamina until your next turn.

4: Lunacy: Hone Senses

Berserkers can sense a weak foe…

Hone Senses Tech 1 A Grants Keen (+Accuracy).

5: Rage Tech: Beast Magic

Berserkers know a primitive method of spellcasting native to monsters.

Beast Magic Tech 1 A When in Berserk status, roll 1d20 on your turn. On a roll of 10-14, you use Beast Magic:
You use the Blue Magic ability of the last monster you KO'd. This costs no MP.

6: Onslaught: Wild Swing

Berserkers can swing wide with their attacks, hitting all enemies

Wild Swing Tech 2 A Deal WEAPON POWER damage to all enemies.

7: Lunacy: Lunatic High

Berserkers can inspire speed and agility in their party.

Lunatic High Tech 2 A Bestows Haste on the party. Those who gain Haste also gain +5 Evade while they have Haste.

8: Rage Tech: Transformation

Berserkers can adopt an enemy's traits as well as their powers.

Transformation Tech 1 A When in Berserk status, roll 1d20 on your turn. On a roll of 5 or better, you use Transformation (in addition to your other actions):
You gain the enemy's passive abilities until you loose Berserk status.

9: Onslaught: Bodyslam

Breakers can hit an enemy with their own bodies, dealing tremendous damage.

Bodyslam Tech 4 A Deal QUADRUPLE WEAPON POWER damage. $1/4$ of that damage is also dealt to you.

10: Lunacy: Howling Moon

Berserkers gird their allies for war!

Howling Moon Tech 3 A Bestow Bubble and Bravery on all allies.

Epic: Rage Tech: Hurl

The highest form of berserker combat: simply throwing your enemy away.

Hurl Tech 4 A When in Berserk status, roll 1d20 on your turn. On a roll of 15 or better, you use Toss (see above) or Hurl, at your option.
Hurl causes Eject, or deals QUADRUPLE WEAPON POWER damage to those immune to Eject.

Feats

Berserkers can customize their abilities with feats, gaining new abilities and options. This does include the unusual Storm abilities, which are magical attacks for a job otherwise very physically focused.

Storm: Ice Storm

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 1
Berserkers can unleash an elemental force on their foes.

Ice Storm Spell 1 A
10 MP
You can use this ability while Berserk.
Deals HALF SPELL POWER Ice damage to all enemies.

Onslaught: Mad Rush

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 1
Berserkers can unleash a desperate attack.

Mad Rush Tech 1 A Attack at -5 accuracy. If you hit, you deal +5 damage.

Onslaught: Meltdown

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 4
Berserkers can throw themselves into the assault.

Meltdown [Ability] Tech 1 A Sacrifice yourself, and deal damage equal to your remaining HP.

Onslaught: Blood Fang

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Berserkers can devour their enemy's life-force.

Blood Fang Tech 1 A Deal WEAPON POWER damage. Heal HP equal to the damage you dealt.

Onslaught: Greased Lightning

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Breakers can attack faster than an enemy can react.

Greased Lightning [Ability] Tech 2 A Deal WEAPON POWER damage and you do not trigger any Reaction abilities.

Onslaught: Cripple

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Berserkers can obliterate an enemy's HP.

Lifetap [Ability] Tech 2 A Deal damage equal to $1/2$ of the target's current HP.

Onslaught: Full Assault

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Berserkers can use a tremendous attack, but it leaves them exhausted.

Full Assault [Ability] Tech 2 A Deal TRIPLE WEAPON POWER damage, and then gain Sleep.

Lunacy: Bacchanalia

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Berserkers can send all allies flying into a rage.

Bacchanalia Tech 1 A All allies gain the Berserk status.

Storm: Ground Shaker

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 5
Berserkers strike with the fury of an earthquake.

Ground Shaker Spell 2 A
20 MP
You can use this ability while Berserk.
Deals DOUBLE SPELL POWER Earth damage to an enemy.

Rank III

Onslaught: Rave

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 8
Berserkers can unleash a ballistic fury against a particular foe.

Rave Tech 3 A You can use this ability while Berserk.
Attack one enemy 3 times.

Onslaught: Tenacity

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 8
Berserkers can become brutal the more one tries to keep them down.

Tenacity [Ability] Tech 3 A Deal TRIPLE WEAPON POWER damage, +5 damage for every ailment you are suffering.

Storm: Stardust Ray

Prerequisite: Berserker Level 8
Berserkers call down the stars themselves to strike their foes.

You can use this ability while Berserk.
Deals DOUBLE SPELL POWER Holy damage to all enemies.

Epic

Storm: Cosmo Memory

Prerequisite: Berserker Epic Level
Berserkers remember the violence in the origin of all things.

Cosmo Memory Spell 4 A
40 MP
You can use this ability while Berserk.
Deals TRIPLE SPELL POWER damage to all enemies.
